But more than that, we're a team of people who care deeply about animals. Every day here is different, every pet has a personality, and every team member plays a meaningful role in keeping things running smoothly.
If you're looking for a workplace where you can stay active, learn new skills, and spend your time around dogs and cats, you're in the right place.
Take a look at our opportunities and see where you fit in.
Why Work With Us
There are a lot of reasons people enjoy working at Dog's Day Inn, but it usually comes down to a few things. First, you get to spend your day around animals. If you love dogs and cats, that alone makes a big difference. You're constantly interacting with pets, learning their behaviors, and building trust with them over time. Second, the work is active and engaging. You won't be stuck doing the same thing all day. Instead, you'll move between supervising playtime, assisting with feeding routines, helping with grooming support, and keeping spaces clean and safe.

What We Look For
We don't expect you to know everything on day one. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn. Experience with animals is helpful, but not always required. Many of our team members learn everything they need through training and hands-on experience.
Genuinely enjoy being around animals and are dependable and responsible
Can stay calm and patient in busy situations and work well as part of a team
Are comfortable being active throughout the day and pay attention to detail and safety
Willing to learn — experience with animals is helpful but not always required
Training and Growth
When you join Dog's Day Inn, you're not expected to figure everything out on your own. We provide training to help you understand our routines, safety standards, and animal care practices. We believe in learning by doing, supported by guidance and teamwork.
Animal Handling
Safely handle dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments and monitor group play and behavior.
Facility Care
Maintain clean and organized spaces and follow feeding and care schedules consistently.
Team Communication
Communicate effectively with your team and support daily operations across the facility.
Growth Opportunities
As you grow in your role, there are opportunities to take on more responsibility. Many team members start in entry-level positions and grow into leadership or specialized roles over time.
How to Apply
Getting started is simple.
First, you'll submit an application so we can learn a little about you. Next, if there's a good fit, we'll reach out for an interview to get to know you better and answer your questions.
If everything lines up, you'll go through onboarding and training to prepare you for your role.
